Fill a PDF from Gmail or Outlook
The Chrome extension adds a button next to a PDF attachment in Gmail and in Outlook on the web. One click uploads that attachment to your Snapfritz account and opens the review. Nothing is sent until you click. A Chrome Web Store listing is not published yet.

How to do it
- 01
Load the extension
Today as an unpacked build from the project, not via a store link. Once it is published, the store link will be on this page.
- 02
Connect the account
While you are signed in, “Connect the extension” creates a token that can only upload PDFs. It stays in the extension and can be revoked there.
- 03
Open the attachment
The button appears next to PDF attachments on mail.google.com and on outlook.office.com, outlook.live.com and outlook.office365.com.
- 04
Review
The same review as after an upload: fields, suggestions, signature. Your plan's allowance applies here too.
Fields
| Field | Meaning | Where the value comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Which message? | Only the attachment you click, plus the sender and subject of that message. | The extension, and only on click |
| The rest of the inbox | Not read, not stored, not sent. | Not collected |
| Permissions | Storage for the token, and access to those mail sites and to Snapfritz. | Declared in the extension manifest |
Limits
- Snapfritz reads the PDF you upload. It is not a government portal, it does not file the application, and it is not a partner of the body that issued the form.
- Whether this particular form can be read depends on the file. No specific official form is guaranteed.
- The AI detects fields. Deterministic code proposes values from your profile and from earlier confirmed answers. You confirm before anything is written into the PDF.
- The signature is a simple electronic signature (an image of your signature). Snapfritz does not produce qualified signatures or notarisation.
- No full mailbox connection and no OAuth into your Gmail or Outlook account. The extension does not run in the background on its own and has no tracking.
- Outlook desktop and the Gmail phone app are not covered, only those websites in Chrome.
Common questions
Where is the Chrome Web Store listing?
The extension is built. A public store listing does not exist yet, so this page does not link to one.
Do I need the Platin plan?
No. The extension uses the same allowance as an upload. The API and MCP are the part that belongs to Platin.
Can the extension sign?
No. It only uploads the PDF. Signing happens in Snapfritz, by you.
